WE'RE IN A NEW YEAR WEDNESDAY

Happy 2017 to everyone!

Sorry I have been absent - life and Christmas busyness got in the way.  But I'm back and hope to bring you some new, fun posts.

First of all don't forget that today is the first day of the Occasions Catalog and the start of Sale-a-bration.  For every $50 of any Stampin' Up products ordered you get to choose a FREE SAB set! When you host a party that reaches $250, you also get $25 extra hostess credit.  A win, win!  Let me know if I can help you achieve that goal.

Visit the website at the top of the blog or click on the catalogs on the right to view the catalogs or place an order.

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THAT AS I SAT DOWN AT MY COMPUTER A MESSAGE CAME THROUGH ON FACEBOOK THAT THE STAMPIN UP SYSTEMs ARE DOWN.  OH NO.  THEY MUST BE FRANTIC.  YOU CANNOT ACCESS THE WEBSITE OR SEE CATALOGS RIGHT NOW.  KEEP CHECKING AS THE DAY GOES ON.  I KNOW THEY ARE WORKING HARD AND ARE DEFINITELY MORE FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW THAN YOU ARE THAT NOTHING IS WORKING.  KEEP THE FAITH!

Even though we haven't had much snow at all here in my neck of the PA woods, it IS winter so here is a snowy winter card we will be making at stamp camp next week.

I saw this cute idea of a melted snowman on Pinterest and decided to use the idea for the card.
The card uses the Brick Wall emb folder for the Early Espresso background, the Hearth & Home Thinlet for the window in Crumb Cake, and the retired Christmas Greetings Thinlet "hello" in Pool Party.
I used the Stamp Set Sprinkles of Life cloud with matching Tree Builder Punch, and the hat and arm branches from the Snow Place Stamp Set.  I just cut a little orange sliver for the nose and drew the eyes and buttons on with a black marker.
The melted snowman is adhered to a circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits that were available for order in Nov but now closed until later.  Behind the window is a piece from the Fancy Frost Specialty DSP from the Occasions Catalog rubbed with a little Pool Party ink on a sponge.

Try your melted snowman idea and see what you come up with.
