WEDNESDAY

Today's card uses one of the SAB FREE sets, Home to Roost.  Stampin' Up's theme at On Stage in November was Simple Stamping and this card would fit in that category.  It might not be as simple as some, but it is pretty straightforward.

I had not used my rooster yet, but I can't say that now.

Supplies used:
Bermuda Bay, Whisper White cardstock
Wood Texture 6 x 6 DSP
Momento, Bermuda Bay ink
Circle Framelits, Stitched Framelits
Stampin' Blends
Message is from a retired set.

MONDAY

Today I was working on cards for this week's stamp camp.  Here is one that I created.

I can't get enough of this Grapefruit Grove Foil Paper that was a FREE SAB item.  Even though the supply is now depleted, I have 2 packs and I am so glad.  I sure hope they bring this or something close to it back in the next Annual Catalog.

This card is very easy - #simple stamping.
Supplies used:
Vanilla, Bermuda Bay cardstock
Versa Mark Pad
Copper Embossing Powder
Dot to Dot Emb Folder #148533 pg 25 Occasions Cat
Humming Along Stamp Set.  Bundle includes Framelits #150621 pg 36 Occasions Cat

FRIDAY TECHNIQUE

The card today showcases an older technique I learned, but often forget about.  It is called spotlighting.  I received this card in our SAB swap.  I apologize, but I do not know who created the card.  I must have thrown the tag away.

To do this technique you stamp the main image that you want.  Then you stamp a portion of the image on a piece of scrap cardstock.  Punch that out with a circle punch of your choice and color it.  This was colored with the Stampin' Blends.
Attach the circle to the card with Dimensionals, matching the lines on the punched piece to the lines on the main image.
That is all there is to it.  Easy peasy, but such a neat technique.

Supplies used:
Lovely Lattice SAB FREE item with your $50 order
White cardstock
Momento Ink Pad
Stampin' Blends
Gingham Gala 6 x 6 DSP #148554 pg 35 Occasions Cat
Braided Linen Trim #147808 Carry -over from Holiday Cat

I just want to let you know that the FREE SAB items Foil Paper and Ribbon Pack are no longer available.  The wooden Butterfly Elements are running low - now gone!  However, you have second release items that are beautiful that you can now get for FREE.  And some of them (along with some of the first release items) have coordination items that will be available to order from March 1-31.  Here is a picture of the Coordination items that will be available.  It may help you to make your choice of what free items you want to get in anticipation of ordering these new products when they are available.

The gray items are the new items that will be for sale and the white items are the FREE SAB items with which they coordinate.  None of these items will be available after March 31 when Sale-a-bration ends, with the POSSIBLE exception of the punch.
I can't wait to get some of these new products!

THURSDAY

I'm posting today since I skipped yesterday.  I am dealing with some health concerns right now, so if I miss a post, please know I have not forgotten you.
This beautiful card was sent to me from my upline, Cindy Fodor.
It uses the Southern Serenade Stamp Set.  I entirely missed this one in the catalog.  It is so pretty!  #145921 pg 150 AC.  I believe this particular doily is retired.

Thanks for stopping by.

FRIDAY

Sharing 2 more cards today using the Tea Together stamps and matching framelits.

As I said before, I LOVE this Grapefruit Grove Foil Paper, FREE with your $50 order.
For the top card I used the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits #148551 and embossed it with the Subtles Folder #143706.  Then I used the piece that was left after cutting for a frame look for the second card.

The top card uses:
Calypso Coral and Shaded Spruce cardstock and ink
Garden Impressions DSP #146289
Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon #144235
Itty Bitty Greetings #146667
Layered Leaves Emb Folder #143704

The second card uses:
Calypso Coral and Night of Navy cardstock
Night of Navy ink
Swirls and Curls Emb Folder #147923
Stampin' Blends

Don't forget you can get the Tea Time set in the Occasions Catalog and the matching Framelits FREE with your $100 order during Sale-a-bration.

Here's a tip for cutting out the framelits (not just for the tea set) when you need several for a project. Just use a scrap or a 1/4 piece of cardstock to stamp your images and then you can cut them all out with your Big Shot at the same time.  Just remember to leave enough space between your stamped images so that your framelits will fit without overlapping.

Have a great weekend!

WEDNESDAY

I have been playing with the Tea Together Stamp Set and the matching Teatime Framelits. Here are two cards I came up with.

I am pleased with how they turned out.  Of course they are prettier in person.
For the top card, I used the Tufted Embossing Folder in the background.  Lovely Lipstick Foil Paper (FREE with your $50 SAB order) is cut with the Circle Framlelits and then layered with our Pearlized Doilies.  The cut outs on the tea set and small circle come from Garden Impressions 6 x 6  DSP pack.  There is a Glitter Enamel dot in the center of the circle. Teapot and cup are stamped on Sea Foam card stock with Lovely Lipstick ink.

The second card uses the same supplies.  The teapot and cup are embossed with the Gently Falling Folder.  I have a favorite tea set of my mother's that has raised red dots on it and the dots reminded me of that.

The Tea Together stamp set is on page 49 of the Occasions catalog 148779.  You can get the matching Framelits FREE with a $100 order during Sale-a-bration.  They will be available in the new annual catalog, but if you can get them FREE, why not do it now?

Come back on Friday to see two more tea cards.

MONDAY

A quick post today to share a frog card I received in a Sale-a-bration swap.  Not only is this stamp set FREE with your $50 order, but from March 1-31, you can get matching framelits to go with the set.  They will be available from March 1-31 or while supplies last.

You KNOW you have to have them!  I know I do!  They will be $27 and that will get you a little over half way to your next $50 for another FREE Sale-a-bration item.

Here is the card, created by Sandy Holmes.
And here are the framelits.  I will post a reminder right before March 1st so you don't miss out!

FRIDAY

No fold today, but another card using the FREE Foil Paper and a tip.

To save on paper, you can cut a shape out of your card layer because it gets covered up.  Here is what I mean:

Cut out any shape or piece from your paper and then cover it up with your next layer of card stock.  This will help you save paper, which is especially nice when you are using more expensive paper.  However, THIS Foil Paper is FREE with your $50 order, but it's still a great idea.

Supplies for this card:
Night of Navy, Blushing Bride card stock and Lovely Lipstick Foil paper
Circle Framelits
Blushing Bride, Sea Foam Ink
Share What You Love Artisan Pearls 146927
1/2" Gingham Ribbon 144232
Healing Hugs Stamp Set 146530
new Dot to Dot Embossing Folder 148533

This foil paper is being depleted quickly from the inventory, so you need to place your order ASAP if you would like to have it - and you do - trust me!
