I did not get the stamps because I thought I had enough flowers. I had two doctor's apoointments and then started to put craft show things away and almost forfot to post. I have to get back in the groove.</p><p>Today I am highlighting the Pansy Petal Suite, found on page 27 & 28 of the new catalog.</p><p><br /></p><p>Here is the card I made: </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNOLB1N2p2z0sB2SVsgkNf3yY6cgquiXNyr1nse_55SNBqGm_bXiZMjChU8xMTBbe8grVNMKLXZYx_4nbHZmOQM381-zFd4wEjhx1s8I9urSmpww81gVeUM-n3wjOGMh8kunq8tdJZc4uC/s412/pansy+suite+card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="309" data-original-width="412" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNOLB1N2p2z0sB2SVsgkNf3yY6cgquiXNyr1nse_55SNBqGm_bXiZMjChU8xMTBbe8grVNMKLXZYx_4nbHZmOQM381-zFd4wEjhx1s8I9urSmpww81gVeUM-n3wjOGMh8kunq8tdJZc4uC/s320/pansy+suite+card.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>I used Basic White cardstock as my base. <div> Then I cut a piece of Highland Heather at 5 1/4 x 4 for the layer. </div><div>I then punched out pieces using the Tailored Tag punch from the Pansy Petals DSP. I just played around with the positioning until I got them where I wanted. Glue them in place.</div><div>Cover the whole thing with Clear Wink of Stella.</div><div>Stamp the small pansy from the set and place a pearl in the center.</div><div>I used a retired set for my message, but you can use anything you have that fits on your Tailored Tag Punch.</div><div>Punch out the message and adhere both the message and the pansy with Dimensionals.</div><div><br /></div><div>I am anxious to try more cards with this beautiful set. I saw the pattern somewhere, but, I apoligize, I can't remember the girl's name. I will show it to you first and then give you pics and directions. I made 20 of these for my oncology nurses and doctor. I try to take a treat in each month. Here is the final product:</p><p></p><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0 0 0 40px; padding: 0px;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhltHlB-F4h5Rx4yfe36QMgh3LLUe-_rfSW84Ptzth3_iAOXEoMrqwXyml4tdToCB_IWjRekR0cTIz6hcq9IGoZ5VFmk1fY3i0SW0ncDFT5HFgslAeLcuzNu53GTXAPRv5-wsO9gkctR3jD/s4096/20210505_220716.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3072" data-original-width="4096" height="189" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhltHlB-F4h5Rx4yfe36QMgh3LLUe-_rfSW84Ptzth3_iAOXEoMrqwXyml4tdToCB_IWjRekR0cTIz6hcq9IGoZ5VFmk1fY3i0SW0ncDFT5HFgslAeLcuzNu53GTXAPRv5-wsO9gkctR3jD/w253-h189/20210505_220716.jpg" width="253" /></a></div><br /><p style="text-align: left;">The message seems a little hard to read, but I thought it was perfect. I was diagnosed with lung cancer in Jan of 2019 and it has been a long road. However, with God's help and lots of prayer warriors surrounding me, I am on the mend and ready to get back into some consistent blogging. </p><p>My plan is to blog on Monday, Wed, and Friday. If I find this to be too much, I will let you know. </p><p>On Make it Monday I will concentrate on new and current catalog products and show you ways that you can use them. It's always inspirational to see how Stampin' Up products are used and you know it makes you want to have them all.</p><p>What's Up Wednesday will be a little of everything. If I have been working on a project that uses retired products, this is the place where I will showcase them. We all know we keep lots of our favorites and still need some inspiration on how to use them.</p><p>Fun Fold Friday will showcase a card or project with a fun fold. I always love finding new card folds and 3D projects.</p><p>I hope that you will come back and visit while I get things started again. Join me tomorrow for a fun fold mask candy holder. Masks are still everywhere, but now you can make one that you don't have to wear. Hope to see you soon.</p>Lynne Peters, Independent Stampin' Up Demonstratorhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00288081331014463830noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4234129284852559778.post-86303487860134554922019-10-14T00:00:00.000-04:002019-10-14T00:00:23.573-04:00MONDAY<div style="text-align: center;">
Today's card is one I created for my oldest grandson who turned 18 this week. Where does the time go?? He loves his drums, thus the theme.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKf_mNyJ9DO1SeBapq7qwhiOXusQj7UhX8Ziu-E2ULloIim1rNxOFMXH8AAPwzyNZnsRHSs8vZ2r_2h9eiOShcla-o7iK4mRLvmP2ymN83vYJUKSgyNJWtm_P65t475R2E_gFmP3Bjg0PJ/s1600/drum+card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="328" data-original-width="245" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKf_mNyJ9DO1SeBapq7qwhiOXusQj7UhX8Ziu-E2ULloIim1rNxOFMXH8AAPwzyNZnsRHSs8vZ2r_2h9eiOShcla-o7iK4mRLvmP2ymN83vYJUKSgyNJWtm_P65t475R2E_gFmP3Bjg0PJ/s400/drum+card.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the retired Cake Soiree framelit to get the base of the drum. I cut off the top of the cake and drew some lines to create the drum image. Not perfect, put I was happy with it. I used retired brads and some twine for the front and matches for the drumsticks.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He always appreciates my cards, which I try to personalize for my grandkids, so it is fun creating one for him.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Happy Birthday, Colton! He is a winner.</div>

Today's post is a frame that I made for an auction gift for Sweet Grace Ministries. I have mentioned this organization before. It is a local organization that supports families who have experienced an infant loss. In October there is a walk to remember and several auction items will be available to help raise money for the organization. Part of their theme includes a butterfly.</div>

So, I missed the Wed post so I am going to show you a bunch of things today. Last Friday I showed you a fun frame and a link on how to make it. I promised I would share some other projects I made using the technique. Here they are:</div>

I'm posting today because I forgot to yesterday. This is another Harvest Hello card. This is a perfect get well card at this time of year, especially, with the apple theme.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6vf3DWJBDzFj_mZtpby-si5aXg8d7PqsNqJMKGA9aYStolSzHkhduIylu9HgqMDtOaH55LlWxJ7xIlDztD47tint1v7YTCinYbbAuybJ3UGreW2rcE8xdVJZ1Aw0HingIST8XBOwr50lK/s1600/harvest+hello+get+well.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="210" data-original-width="280" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6vf3DWJBDzFj_mZtpby-si5aXg8d7PqsNqJMKGA9aYStolSzHkhduIylu9HgqMDtOaH55LlWxJ7xIlDztD47tint1v7YTCinYbbAuybJ3UGreW2rcE8xdVJZ1Aw0HingIST8XBOwr50lK/s320/harvest+hello+get+well.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Easy to do.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Supplies:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Real Red, Pretty Peacock cardstock</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Petty Peacock, Momento Ink</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Oval Punches (retired)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Of course you can use a current punch or die for the message, but I'm always glad I have some of my retired items (actually quite a few!) that work perfectly when I need them. I'm sure you can all relate. </div>

Today's fold is one I found on Splitcoast stampers website. The tutorial show you how to make a frame in almost any size you would want. Here is the card I created using the frame.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9bqlcAwDmYL-vRA5KGpTAWzce5mQ3l4fVUHf1ADi3fBO2Ggxyll8rnyOBLpAuJr5CvCoPieNuc1fUhsTroqFKuhceFjsSZz1KOtgn_YgT54Wt1h12bKuMqP6B6KUjmWx2R9QRlGOUxNqE/s1600/fun+fold+frame.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="342" data-original-width="350" height="390" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9bqlcAwDmYL-vRA5KGpTAWzce5mQ3l4fVUHf1ADi3fBO2Ggxyll8rnyOBLpAuJr5CvCoPieNuc1fUhsTroqFKuhceFjsSZz1KOtgn_YgT54Wt1h12bKuMqP6B6KUjmWx2R9QRlGOUxNqE/s400/fun+fold+frame.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am including the youtube video <a href="https://in.pinterest.com/pin/268597565264491932/">here</a>, created by Betty Tracy. She will walk you through the steps to make this frame in a variety of ways. Remember that whatever frame you choose to make will be 2" smaller the whole way around from the size of paper that you cut. If you make the frame that pops up, your frame will end up to be 3" smaller that your paper size. This is such a fun technique fold.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
