MONDAY

Today I have a man card for you that uses retiring products.  It is sometimes hard to make or find an idea for a man card.

Retiring products used:
Guy Greetings stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (a must have) - both in AC, True Gentlemen DSP (Occasions Catalog).
Other products:
Tranquil Tide card stock and ink, Crushed Curry card stock, Dimensionals.
This card is so simple and can be used for any occasion at all by changing the bottom message.
Don't forget to get that order in. Stamps sets guaranteed until May 25th.

For some reason I can't get my link to work to the retiring list from the side panel.  So click here, to see all your choices.

WEDNESDAY

I'm sharing two cards today since I skipped out on Monday.  I am showcasing some retiring products.  I always hate to see some of the products go, but excited when the new ones appear.

Here is what I used on this card that is retiring. Red means it is sold out as of today.
Flower Shop stamp set and matching Pansy Punch, Soft Sky card stock, Soft Sky Classic Weave Ribbon, Soft Sky Ink, Brick Embossing Folder, Thinking of You from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set, White Perfect Accents, Petal Passion DSP.
So it looks like most everything except the black and white card stock.

Retiring items:
Birthday Blooms stamp set, Whole Lot of Lovely DSP.
Returning items:
Starburst Punch, Pool Party card stock and Ink, Soft Suede card stock and Ink.  I also used a little Wink of Stella in the center of the large flower and on the little blue flowers.

If you LOVE some of these items, get them before they are gone.
Stamp sets are available for sure until May 25.  After that it is while supplies last.
All other products are "while supplies last".

FUN FOLD FRIDAY

Today's fold card is VERY EASY!

Cut your cardstock in half at 5 1/2 x 8.
Score 2 3/4 from each side.
Decorate and embellish as you want.  This card has Petal Passion DSP on the front.
Make a belly band to wrap loosely around the card to keep it closed.
The card also has a circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and stamps from the Perennial Birthday stamp set.
Lots of easy, fun possibilities.

A quick post today to show you one of the cards we made at our last stamp fest.

The stamp set is Waterfront.  This set is on pg 48 of the Occasions Catalog.  It was designed by Connie Heisey, my amazing upline and Million Dollar Achiever.
Colors are Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip (both of these colors retiring), a little Old Olive, Layered Circle Dies, Oh My Stars Embossing Folder, and Linen Thread.

MONDAY

I made a few of these cute favors several years ago for an event.  It is one of the Pinterest posts that gets a lot of hits.  I will be making about 30 tomorrow with a stamper friend, fellow Presbyterian Woman, for a tea we are having on Friday.  There will be a speaker there sharing her hats from the 30's and 40's.  We decided this would be a cute favor.

I think everything here is retired. Sorry, but sometimes I find it a great thing to be able to use up retired supplies and this was one of those times.  I used the Starburst Framelits for this project, but you could use the Layering Circles in the Annual Catalog instead if you need to use a current product.  You can also substitute current ribbon.  The flowers are something you might have to look for in your favorite craft store.
The candy cup will be filled with a chocolate truffle.  Yum!

I'll post all the different ones when we are done making them and they are filled with candy.

FRIDAY

This is a late post, but yesterday and today were a little crazy.  A local church helped make cards for Sweet Grace Ministries last night that I had designed.  You have seen a few on my posts.  They rocked it!  This morning my church ladies made some more.  I am waiting to get some more from our stamping group.  They have already donated 107.  Our goal was 500, so we are there or VERY CLOSE.
I spent part of my day today "fixing" a few cards, stamping some envelopes, matching envelopes to cards, and counting all cards.  I will be taking them to the office next week.
I LOVE to stamp and I love even more that I can be a part of this worthy organization by doing something I love.
Here is what we have so far:

WEDNESDAY

The last of the Sweet Grace butterfly cards.  We will be making all of these this week.  Others have also donated and I am so grateful.  I think we may be close to 400 cards.  Only 100 more to go - maybe at a later date.

I used Crazy About You stamp set and retired small butterfly plus a VERY retired Thinking of You.  Colors are Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Calypso Coral.

I used Butterfly Basics (on the retiring list) and the Thinking of You from Colorful Seasons.  Colors are Mint Macaron, Sahara Sand, and So Saffron.

MONDAY

I am still working on cards for Sweet Grace Ministries.  Here are 2 more ready to go.

Supplies - Timeless Textures stamp set and Thinking of You from Wetlands (retired), butterfly punch (retired).  The pink glimmer paper is non Stampin' Up.  The blue is from the Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper in the Occasions Catalog.

Click here for the retiring list that came out today at 3:00.

FRIDAY

Another card we will be making for Sweet Grace Ministries.  I need to make them simple since I don't know if the creators are "seasoned" stampers.  I will still be designing 2 or 3 more.

This one uses a lot of retired items - DSP envelope Paper, message from Sincere Salutations, Washi Tape, and the butterfly stamp from the set that matched the retired punch.
I will making some with other colors also to use up my DSP.

Have a great weekend.

WEDNESDAY

Here are two cards that my Presbyterian Women's group will be making for Sweet Grace Ministries. This organization was created to support families who have experienced an infant loss.  It has done some amazing things and will soon be moving into a new larger facility to accommodate all their needs.  It is very exciting for them, even though the reason for this organization is so very sad and humbling.
The cards we make are sent to families all over the U.S.  We need them to be simple so they are easy to create for those women who are not advanced stampers.  We will be making 25 of each card.

This card uses the SAB set Heartfelt Blooms stamped in Perfect Plum.  The butterfly is stamped on Elegant Eggplant with white ink and then punched out.  A few pearls were added for embellishment.

This card uses a piece of DSP from Eastern Palace.  The ribbon is retired and I need to use it up.  It is similar to Very Vanilla Lace Trim Ribbon.  The message is from Flourishing Phrases.  I put Gold Winker on the middle of the butterfly, but I think I will try something else when we make the cards.  It just doesn't pop enough.

I will be designing some more cards for Sweet Grace for another event later in April.  I love being able to do this, but my heart aches that we have to do so many!!

MONDAY

Just posting a quick card I found on Pinterest.  I know Easter was yesterday, but, April Fools, it snowed about 3 inches last night.  I refuse to make another winter/snow card so I looked for a pretty one to post and this is what I found.  This card is SO pretty and uses that time honored stamp set, Lovely as a Tree.

This card was created by Michelle Last and her post can be found here.  This reminded me of how our woods looked this morning, which is what made me choose it.

I will be working on some April stamp camp cards - NO SNOW - and some cards for Sweet Grace Ministries.  Check back later.  I guess with the snow it will be a good day to create!
