MONDAY

I have been working on the card that I am designing for the June 9th Stamp Fest.  Here is the first one I came up with.  I like the simplicity.

I used the Rooted in Nature stamp set and matching Framelits from the new catalog.  We will be highlighting lots of new products at the stamp fest.  I also used the new Shaded Spruce ink pad.  I love the rich green color.  Other products used were the Stitched Framelits, Navy Blue Twine, Banner Triple Punch, Navy Blue Ink, and Navy Blue, Shaded Spruce and Vanilla card stock.
This was not the card that my fellow demonstrators chose as their favorite from the samples I made, so I will show you the final one on Friday since it is a fun fold.

WEDNESDAY

The count down is on for getting your retiring stamps and accessories.  I will be showcasing cards using retiring stamps.  Stamps will continue to be produced until May 25th and then they will be on a "while supplies last" status.  I will be sharing cards that I have made or ones I have seen on Pinterest.

The two cards today use the Grown With Love stamp set and matching framelit dies.

This card was created by Holly Pederson.

This card is by Rosanne Mulhern.

These stamps are so cute.  If you would like them before they are  gone, click on the SHOP NOW button and place your order.

FUN FOLD FRIDAY

Sorry for being absent.  Life has just been busy.
Here is one of the boxes I made for the Sweet Grace Ministries dinner Thursday evening.  Sweet Grace is a local organization, growing by leaps and bounds, that ministers to families who have experienced an infant loss.  Being that Mother's Day is this weekend, this can be an extremely hard time for Moms.

I made 35 of these, using DSP that will be retiring.

To make these, cut the Curvy Keepsake Box out of your desired DSP and the Butterfly Thinlit from matching card stock.
Cut your butterfly in half.  I covered each one with Wink of Stella for a little bling.  Then, before you fold your box to close, attach your butterfly halves on each side of the open slot.  I used Tombow because it holds so well, but you could also use the Fine Tip Glue.

I put three Hershey Kisses and three small butterflies, using the small butterfly punch, on the inside so each box would contain some butterfly kisses.
