FRIENDLY FRIDAY

In the next couple of weeks I will try to show you some projects made with retiring products.  Today's card is one we will be making at Stamp Camp next week.

I got this idea from a post on Pinterest by Kerry Timms.  You can see her directions here.  I did change it up a bit by turning and making the back of her card actually the front of my card.  The reason I did that was because there was no where to write a message on her card.  Opening it the opposite way gives you an inside where you can stamp or write.  I popped up the Coastal Cabana embossed piece with Dimensionals only on the left side so that the card would still open.  Since the card is an odd size, I also used the Envelope Punch board to make an envelope using Coastal Cabana Card Stock, following the directions for a card measuring 5" x 5".

Retiring products I used:
  • Window Frame Framelits (I used the largest one to make the card base)
  • Something Borrowed DSP (I am assuming this will retire since it is in the Occasions Catalog).
  • Fancy Fan Embossing Folder
  • Mixed Bunch Stamp Set
  • Punch Blossom
  • Coastal Cabana Card Stock
Non retiring items:
  • Sahara Sand Ink
  • Bermuda Bay Card Stock and Ink
  • Banner in the Mini Treat Bag Thinlet Dies
  • Candy Dots
Don't forget you can still add items to the Hostess Code 74Z6X42P by clicking on the SHOP NOW button on the right panel of the blog to get to my Stampin' Up website.
Also see the stamp camp dates on the Stampin' Up blog.

Have a great weekend!
