WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY

Today's post is another card we are making at Stamp Camp this month.  It uses the new Beautiful You Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog.  Love this sketch set.

The card is a different design I had seen on Pinterest. Cut your card at 4 1/2 and score at 5 1/2.  Open the card up and lay the fold on the 2" mark of your paper cutter.  This will give you the top flap you see.  Then cut the piece you cut off at 2" also so that the top and bottom are both the same size. When you adhere the card together, you put adhesive along the top and bottom of the stamped image, lay the 2" bottom piece along the bottom of the card, lay the adhesive piece down so that it adheres to both the top and bottom sections.  And voila' your card front is together.

To make the stamped image I inked the image in Whisper White and then heated it with the heat gun to make sure it was dry.  I also stamped a few white dots using one of the images in the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set.

Color in the image with the new Watercolor Pencils that match the ink colors we have. You can color over the white lines also. So glad Stampin' Up brought back the pencils!  I also put some clear Wink of Stella on the umbrella to give it a "wet" look, but it is hard to see here.

The DSP is Affectionately Yours and the ribbon is a FREE SAB item (you get both gold and silver in the free pack).  The pieces dimensions are 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 for the Calypso Coral and 3 1/4 x 2 for the Night of Navy.  Hope you enjoy this new card fold.  See what you can come up with.
