Not really any big technique today, just wanted to show you one of the cards we will be making at stamp camp next week. Hopefully, the snow and bitter cold will go away!
A few easy techniques - I used the Irresistibly Yours DSP that is one of the FREE SAB choices with a $50 order. Ink up your sponge with Coastal Cabana and rub over the card. The glossy pattern will resist the ink.
I used a card I had received from Sondra Jumper to cut the DSP. No easy way to tell you for this that I now of. Cut from the top left corner down to 3 1/8". You should also be 7/8" away from the edge. Then cut the remainder to the bottom left corner.
Under the bird I used a doily, cut in half, with the center removed.
The bird is colored with Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake Blendabilities.
The bow is made with our new Bowmaker Punch - so cute and easy. Just punch out the pieces and put together with Glue Dots.
Here is a close up of the bow:
I realized, now that I figured out how to link this blog with my Stampin' Up Blog, that when you go to the Stampin' Up Blog now, you won't be able to see past posts. That is a bummer because there are lots of good ideas there. I have to work on solving that!
Come back tomorrow to see another card we will be making at Stamp Camp.
Hope you enjoyed yesterday's Creative Blog Hop.
