I promised to come back on Monday, Wed and Friday so here I am.
I have been working on these cute little Frankenstein treat cups for Halloween. Recipients will be sorority sisters who are taking a trip on Halloween weekend, my grandkids, and those who might purchase them at the October Fall Festival this weekend. Look out - here he is:
Supplies: Mini coffee cups found at www.webstaurantstore.com, old olive card stock, Rolo cups, 3/4" and 1/2" circle punches, retired black and white DSP, black scraps, Fringe Scissors.
First you need to make a pattern for covering the cup. To do this, cut one of the cups apart and open up. Trace and make pattern. After tracing onto old olive cardstock, I cut it out by cutting inside the tracing line. To make the hair, I cut about 3/4" off the bottom of the pattern and then used that smaller piece to trace onto DSP. I then cut off about 1/4" off the bottom of the DSP to make the little sliver to put on the lid. On the larger piece of DSP, use the Fringe Scissors to make hair.
Punch out circles and glue at odd angles on the cup. Cut small strips for the mouth. I used 3 Glue Dots to adhere Rolo cups, but hot glue would also work.
Fill with candy and you are done.
