Several weeks ago I was creating an elementary Sunday School lesson around the theme of love. I searched on-line for an origami heart that would be easy enough for the kids to make (most were in grade 3-5). I found a great one, fairly easy, and done by what sounded like a young man. I will LINK below.
After making them in Sunday School, I decide I would make some for my 4 grandchildren and put a treat and money in them for Valentines Day. Here is what they look like:
As you can see from the heart on the far right, it creates a small pocket in the back which is where I put a $5 bill and a mini Peppermint Pattie. I used one sheet of DSP from the Sending Love Designer Paper Pack in the Occasions Cattie to make each heart. You can use any size DSP as long as it is a square.
