Now here is the card for today:

  • The colors to use were Night of Navy, Mint Macaron, and White.
  • First I ran the white layer through the Big Shot with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  I used the Simply Scored to make raised lines on the side and the bottom and then laid Mint Macaron Ribbon in the center of the lines. The lines are 1/2" apart.
  • Then I cut out the flower and leaves with the Rose Garden Thinlits.
  • Trace around the flower on a piece of shimmery white or plain white cardstock and cut it out, cutting on the inside of the trace lines. Using your sponge dauber or a section of a large sponge, color the white flower with Night of Navy Ink.
  • My final step was to go over the blue flower with Wink of Stella for a little bling.
