FUN FOLD FRIDAY

Today I am going to share a cute little kitty cat treat.  I made these for the first graders who I help with kid writing one day a week.  I love getting back in the classroom without the responsibilities! Tuesday was my last day with them for the year so I brought something to remember me by.
Here is a pic of all 25 and then I will give you easy, detailed directions.

The note on the base says, "Have a "purr" fect summer.

These were inspired and taken from the KT Hom Designs blog.

Directions:
2 x 7 1/2 sheet of Tip Taupe card stock
Punch each end with the Triple Banner Punch to create the ears.
With long edge along the top of your Simply Scored Tool, score at 3" and 4".
Run a strip of Fast Fuse between the two score lines and place your Rolos or Hershey Kisses on the Fast Fuse.
Put a Mini Glue Dot on the inside of each ear and bring the two ear ends up together to meet.  This will close your kitty cat.

The eyes and noses are created with the 1/2" Circle Punch.  I put a white dot on each eye using the White Gel Pen (no longer sold) and black dots on the nose with a thin black Sharpie.
I punched a heart nose out of the pink Sale-a-bration Glimmer Paper using an old mini heart punch.
Linen Thread was used for the whiskers.

These were really so simple; so if you know a cat lover, try one yourself.
