Here is how to create this look:
- Create a mask by cutting out a shape using your Big Shot and a piece of regular copy paper. You can use any shape or size you want. For mine I used the largest square in the Layering Squares Framelits. It should be the same size as the card stock piece you want to use embossing paste on. Here, this one is 4 x 5 1/4.
- Next, lay your piece of card stock underneath the mask and adhere with Washi Tape so they don't move.
-
Lay your stencil on top of the whole thing. Center it or make it random, whatever look you are going for. On one of the cards I laid the pattern straight across and for the other one I angled it.
Then just apply your embossing paste in the normal way. My paste was first colored with Chocolate Chip ink.Today is the big reveal for the Holiday Catalog. It goes live and you will love it! Click on the link to the right to see it if you don't have one yet. I will be glad to see you get one if you contact me.Have a great weekend.
