Just a little late this morning. I had a Bible Study and got up late.
I know it is a little early for Christmas, even though we see it everywhere in stores now, but I am working on getting my Christmas card ideas together. I will be going to a scrap/stamp weekend beginning this Friday so I need to have my ideas ready to go so I know what supplies to take along with me. I am trying desperately to use items I ordered earlier so that I don't have a lot of left-over Christmas items when the holidays are over.
Here is the first card.
For this card I used the Swirly Snowflakes Die for the top border. The embossed snowflakes on the left side are part of a retired embossing folder. I put Wink of Stella on them (not sure if that shows up)
The "peace" is cut from Silver Foil paper, but is also a retired thinlit. The ribbon across the top is the Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon in the AC (pg 199). This ribbon is so pretty and comes with a gold edge also.
Jewells help to finish off this pretty easy card. I get bored with making all of my Christmas cards the same so there will be more samples to come.
