WEDNESDAY

I'm finally back at home - for now!  Ready to get some new posting done.  Today's card is a card we are making at stamp camp this week.  Fall is officially here and it makes me think of sunflowers and fall colors.

Supplies:
Stamps - Painted Harvest and Itty Bitty Greetings
Inks - Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze (stamped off for the second layer of the flower), Old Olive, Soft Suede (stamped off for the flower center and used as is for the "seeds")
Petal Burst Embossing Folder
Layering Circles Framelits
Decorative Label and Word Window Punches (both retired)
Crushed Curry Ribbon (retired)

I try to use mostly current products on my projects, but sometimes current products don't have what I need so I steal from my retired stash.  I know you all have retired items you need to use, so I hope you don't mind when I do that.  Sometimes you can find these items on the Clearance Rack.  Don't forget to check that out when you are placing an order.  You can get some great deals!

Here is a very simple and yet elegant Christmas card.  Sorry - no designer's name.

This card uses products in another bundle - Merry Christmas to All Bundle (pg 5 HC).
In the bundle there are 4 word thinlit dies.  To create this look, the "Christmas" was cut out, then Versa Mark was added to the bottom of the word and gold embossing powder was sprinkled on and heated.  What a cool look
All is Bright DSP (pg 6 HC)

One of the shoebox cards we made was a fold card so I DO have an easy fun fold for you today.

MONDAY

I am on a trip for 2 weeks and when I return home I will be home for 1 1/2 days before I leave for the beach with my girlfriends.  So today's post is the last one that I have created.  After today I will be posting cards that we made at a Shoebox swap a couple of weeks ago.  I will return with my own posts the last week of September.  Thanks for understanding.

Sorry for the blur.  Now having some issues with my new phone.  Argg!
This card uses the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.  Those sunflower fields in my area are  beginning to look awesome; thus the sunflower card.

Colors for the card are Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry. Petal Burst Embossing Folder.  If I do this card again, I will try Pear Pizazz or Old Olive instead of Mossy Meadow.  I think it turned out to be a little too dark.  It does look a little better in person than it does in this picture.

To make the sunflower I stamped off the larger flower image.  I did that twice - stamped once, turned the stamp in a different direction, and stamped off again.  Then I stamped the smaller flower image as the third layer and did not stamp off.
There are many different color variations you can use for this great flower.
Here is a picture I saw on Pinterest saved by someone else with some color combos.  Sorry, but there was no name attached to this photo.

See you again on Wednesday.  Remember I will be posting just quick card picture posts while I am away.
