I am on a trip for 2 weeks and when I return home I will be home for 1 1/2 days before I leave for the beach with my girlfriends. So today's post is the last one that I have created. After today I will be posting cards that we made at a Shoebox swap a couple of weeks ago. I will return with my own posts the last week of September. Thanks for understanding.
Sorry for the blur. Now having some issues with my new phone. Argg!
This card uses the Painted Harvest Stamp Set. Those sunflower fields in my area are beginning to look awesome; thus the sunflower card.
Colors for the card are Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry. Petal Burst Embossing Folder. If I do this card again, I will try Pear Pizazz or Old Olive instead of Mossy Meadow. I think it turned out to be a little too dark. It does look a little better in person than it does in this picture.
To make the sunflower I stamped off the larger flower image. I did that twice - stamped once, turned the stamp in a different direction, and stamped off again. Then I stamped the smaller flower image as the third layer and did not stamp off.
There are many different color variations you can use for this great flower.
Here is a picture I saw on Pinterest saved by someone else with some color combos. Sorry, but there was no name attached to this photo.
See you again on Wednesday. Remember I will be posting just quick card picture posts while I am away.
