The card today showcases an older technique I learned, but often forget about. It is called spotlighting. I received this card in our SAB swap. I apologize, but I do not know who created the card. I must have thrown the tag away.
To do this technique you stamp the main image that you want. Then you stamp a portion of the image on a piece of scrap cardstock. Punch that out with a circle punch of your choice and color it. This was colored with the Stampin' Blends.
Attach the circle to the card with Dimensionals, matching the lines on the punched piece to the lines on the main image.
That is all there is to it. Easy peasy, but such a neat technique.

I just want to let you know that the FREE SAB items Foil Paper and Ribbon Pack are no longer available. The wooden Butterfly Elements are running low - now gone! However, you have second release items that are beautiful that you can now get for FREE. And some of them (along with some of the first release items) have coordination items that will be available to order from March 1-31. Here is a picture of the Coordination items that will be available. It may help you to make your choice of what free items you want to get in anticipation of ordering these new products when they are available.
The gray items are the new items that will be for sale and the white items are the FREE SAB items with which they coordinate. None of these items will be available after March 31 when Sale-a-bration ends, with the POSSIBLE exception of the punch.
I can't wait to get some of these new products!
