Next week when I am away it will be oldest grandson's sixteenth birthday, his mother's (and my daughter's) birthday, and my other daughter's anniversary, so I am trying to get their cards done. Here is the one I made for my volleyball playing grandson.
I thought it turned out pretty well. Everything on the card is Stampin' Up, but some things are retired. I found some Mesh Tape from MANY years ago in my stash for the v-ball net. The posts and the ball swish are from Works of Art Stamp Set. "Celebrate" is from a very old retired message set, and the 16 is from some retired number thinlets. The "floor" is the Wood Grain DSP. The ball is the 1 1/4 Circle Punch and then I drew lines on it to look like a volleyball.
I always make up a poem for the inside of my grandchildrens' cards and I had fun making his again this year. I won't bore you with it, but I loved doing it. That just adds another little touch of "homemade love" from Grams.
