I'm using the technique I shared with you on Monday for the Creative Blog Hop for today's post. It will also be another one of our Stamp Camp cards next week. I wanted to switch things up a little big from the Monday post so this is what I came up with:
I placed the Butterfly Thinlet at the edge of the card and slanted it so it looked like it was flying.
The piece of paper behind the butterfly is the Gold Soiree DSP found in the Annual Catalog. Love the gold sparkle on many of the sheets!
I used the swirl stamp in the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set, stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with Gold.
Then I punched out the Bitty Butterfly from the DSP scraps.
I also embossed the Pearls by coloring them with a retired VersaMark Marker, sprinkling with Gold Embossing Powder and heating. Love how they turned out. I believe you could also use one of the light Blendability Markers instead of the VersaMark Marker because they don't dry right away. It would give you time to dump your embossing powder on and heat. This looks like a great sympathy card to me.
I popped up the layer with Dimensionals before adhering to the base of the card, but that wouldn't be necessary.
