Ink the brayer well with the ink color of your choice. For one paper I chose Daffodil Delight and for the other I chose Melon Mambo. Just roll it over the DSP so that the white areas are now filled with color. You only need to go over it once unless you want it really dark.
Here are the two cards made with the papers I colored:
For this card I embossed the top of the white piece with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. I stamped the flower with the Momento Pad and colored the center with the Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker. Then I added some 2 Way Glue to the center and dumped on some Dazzling Diamonds. The flower and the message are both popped up with Dimensionals. The ribbon is Daffodil Delight. The flower is from the Petal Potpourri Stamp Set and I used the matching Flower Medallion Punch.
I left a little bit of white cardstock showing at the bottom of the DSP.
For this card I used the Chevron Embossing Folder on the top. I stamped the flower onto Melon Mambo Cardstock instead of white. Then I stamped the center with Daffodil Delight and punched the center out with the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch.
Once again I used the Petal Potpourri Stamp Set and matching Flower Medallion Punch.
The center of the flower is a pearl that I embossed using the technique I described on WOW WEDNESDAY March 4th.
I did not yet put a message on the card. I'll wait and see what I need. I also placed this DSP piece at the bottom of the card.
Have fun experimenting with how you can change the color of your Back to Black DSP. You could also use sponge Daubers and do more than one color on a sheet.
